Update Your Data

You can update your personal information in two ways:

  • Through the Service: Log in to SIMSDIG and navigate to your profile settings to update information such as email, phone number, profile picture, and other editable fields.
  • Through the school: Contact your school's administrative office (Tata Usaha) to request changes to data that cannot be modified directly through the Service, such as official identification numbers (NIK, NISN, NIP).

Deactivate Your Account

User accounts in SIMSDIG are created and managed by the school administration - not by users from within the application. As such, account management (including deactivation) is handled by the school.

Accounts are deactivated by the school administration based on academic status:

  • Graduation: Your account role is changed to alumni with limited access to the tracer study program (program Kemendikti).
  • Transfer or dismissal: Your account is deactivated entirely.
  • Voluntary request: You may request deactivation through the school's administrative office (Tata Usaha). Note that this will be treated as withdrawal from the school.

Upon deactivation:

  • Your login credentials will be disabled.
  • You will no longer be able to access the Service.
  • Your profile will no longer be visible to other users.

Note: Account deactivation does not result in permanent deletion of any data. All education records are retained in compliance with Indonesian national education regulations. See limitations on data deletion below.

Limitations on Data Deletion

Certain records are part of the national education data system (Dapodik) maintained by the Indonesian Ministry of Education. Due to regulatory requirements, the following data cannot be permanently deleted:

  • NISN (National Student ID)
  • NIP (Employee ID)
  • Enrollment records and academic history
  • Other data required for Dapodik compliance

Deleting this data would affect the integrity of national education records. The school, as the data controller, retains this data in compliance with Indonesian education regulations.

Revoke Permissions

You can revoke device-level permissions at any time through your device's system settings:

  • Camera: Used for attendance photos and profile photo capture. Revoke via Settings → SIMSDIG → Camera.
  • Location: Used for GPS-based attendance check-in/check-out. Revoke via Settings → SIMSDIG → Location.
  • Photo Library: Used to select an existing photo when updating your profile picture. Revoke via Settings → SIMSDIG → Photos.

Revoking permissions may limit certain features of the Service (e.g., GPS attendance will not work without location access, face-based attendance will not work without camera access).

Data Portability

If you wish to obtain a copy of your personal data stored in the Service, please contact your school's administrative office (Tata Usaha). The school, as the data controller, can provide your data in a commonly used electronic format (such as PDF or spreadsheet) upon request, in accordance with your rights under UU PDP No. 27/2022 (Personal Data Protection Law).

You also have the right to request that your data be transferred to another organization in a structured, machine-readable format, subject to technical feasibility and applicable regulations.

Contact

For any questions or requests regarding your privacy choices - including data updates, account deactivation, data portability, or objections to data processing - please contact your school's administrative office (Tata Usaha) directly. The school is the data controller and is responsible for verifying your identity, reviewing your request, and determining how it will be handled.

If you contact the developer regarding a privacy-related issue, the developer may help forward your request to the relevant school or direct you to the appropriate school contact. However, the developer does not independently review, approve, or fulfill privacy rights requests on behalf of the school.
